You can see temples, hot springs, waterfalls and terraced paddy fields on your way to Annapurna Base Camp. The trail passes through the cultural Gurung and Thakali villages. You would already cross the sub-tropical forest, rhododendron forest and then the alpine forest when you reach your destination, the Annapurna Base Camp located at 4130 m above sea level. From the viewpoint of Poon Hill, you can observe the superb view of the Himalayan peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South and Machapuchare also known as Fishtail mountain. Annapurna Base Camp is a place from where we can get the 360 degree views of Annapurna ranges. After enjoying the mountain views from the Annanpurna Base Camp, we would head towards Jhinu Danda to dip ourselves in the natural hot spring.
